Fernando Argüelles

Born and raised in Calexico, CA, I have been in education for over 26 years. My educational technology career began in 2001 as part of the Desert Without Borders program, which eventually grew into becoming part of the San Diego CUE affiliate. In the past 8 years I’ve had the privilege to serve as part of the Imperial Valley CUE board, and I am currently the board President. During the day my work consists of providing professional development in the areas of Digital Learning and Computer Science, as well as various support roles as a Curriculum Coordinator for the Imperial County Office of Education. My personal and professional  goals are to continue to serve my community, help fellow educators foster a love of innovation and learning, and to support the growth and success of students throughout the Imperial Valley.
